A retail-quality boxed version of Minecraft for Xbox One is slated to hit shelves on November 18 in the US, Microsoft announced today. In-store, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition costs $20. This trade-up system does not apply to the retail version. Microsoft purchased Minecraft studio Mojang for $2.5 billion in the last month and Minecraft creator Markus Notch Persson announced that he would leave the company to go back to his neo-liberal Ludum Dare roots.
